Women in AI Ethics™ hosted its first in-person summit in New York on Friday, December 1, 2023 to celebrate our 5year anniversary and announce the 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics™ list for 2024. This inspiring convening brought together women leaders to raise awareness about the growing AI divide and the urgent need to ensure that we are not leaving our most vulnerable communities behind in the race to an AI-powered future. This event is hosted by Women in AI Ethics™ (WAIE), a fiscally sponsored project of Social Good Fund (Tax Id: 46-1323531), a California nonprofit corporation and registered 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to increase diversity and inclusion in the AI/tech industry by elevating underrepresented ethical voices and providing mentoring programs to support the next generation of diverse AI talent. We also keep our communities safe from the harms of AI and prepare workers for new opportunities through AI literacy & reskilling programs at public libraries and community centers.
