Responsible AI Ecosystem Summit – Oct 2024

Women in AI Ethics™ (WAIE) hosted our inaugural Responsible AI Ecosystem summit on Thursday, October 24, 2024, in New York at the Canadian Consulate. This unique convening brough together founders, funders, researchers, corporate leaders, academic scholars, and other innovators building the responsible and trustworthy AI ecosystem. Since 2018, WAIE has elevated the diverse voices and expertise of women in the critical space of AI ethics. This summit reflects our core mission and key role as a catalyst in the global movement towards sustainable and responsible AI. We believe that a thriving responsible AI ecosystem is the pathway to new opportunities, economic growth, prosperity, and vibrant technological futures that include all of us. This event is hosted by Women in AI Ethics™ (WAIE), a fiscally sponsored project of Social Good Fund (Tax Id: 46-1323531), a California nonprofit corporation and registered 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to increase diversity and inclusion in the AI/tech industry by elevating underrepresented ethical voices and providing mentoring programs to support the next generation of diverse AI talent. We also keep our communities safe from the harms of AI and prepare workers for new opportunities through AI literacy & reskilling programs at public libraries and community centers.
